Thanks to its unique gasket-free drainage joint, the roof system is watertight even when completely submerged in water.

DRAINAGE CHANNEL
Integrated drainage channel is the real guarantee of tightness, even when the roof is completely submerged in water.
In the case of standing water on the roof tapered panel security joints can pass much less water than is able to flow by internal drain into the gutter.

The shape of the drainage groove is designed to escorted the more water, the more it leaks through a possible slit. It does not require seals, sealants or machine clamping when installing.

 

SHAPE AND FIXING
The characteristic features of the system RIVERCLACK® is easy installation without measurement the distance between brackets and no perforation of the coating.
Mounting brackets are made of hardened polyamide and positioned along the panel in determined by the purlin spacing distances.
They allow to slide freely due to thermal expansion without friction between the panels, thereby preventing the formation of thermal bridges and galvanic corrosion between the covering and the roof structure RIVERCLACK®. The shape of the profile and fitting the brackets creates self-locking, stable structure coverage.
The panels are installed by simple foot pressure into specially designed cutouts in brackets screwed into the purlins using two screws each.

Regardless of the location of the construction site roll forming machine, which is a highly specialized product of ISCOMs can be transported, installed and work on the site.

This allows to a production of panels of any length, without transport restrictions and without overlapping fragments on the long roofs, fulfilling both aesthetic and functional requirements. The longest manufactured on the construction site panels have 178 m. Were produced in England by CA GROUP (the licensee of RIVERCLACK®) but the contest is still going on … and there are no limits!

Biaxial bending
Biaxial bending occurs in the case of the need to cover spheres or hemispheres. In addition, it relates to a structure which has been designed to be bent in a direction along the axis of the panel and across, or when there is a bending of the panel along with the narrowing.

To customize the products to the requirements, in addition to the creation of appropriate analytical software, ISCOM has developed a special self-adjusting brackets, which are able to compensate differences in shapes of the panels.
In such applications, we always advise our clients to contact the Technical ISCOM’s Department to analyze how to perform. For large spacing of purlins ISCOM can provide a special version of the profile RIVERCLACK®: RIVERCLACK® 50.

A profile with a high seam RIVERCLACK® 50, characterized by a seam with a height of 70 mm (instead 46 mm of the standard profile) allows the use of the panels when the distance between the purlins, and thus occurs between the brackets is 2m or even more, with no change in mounting, utility of drain, panels length, improving both the mechanical and waterproof profile parameters.

For each length of the panel is possible bending or bending and cutting metal sheets longitudinally, so as to best replicate the edges of the roof and finish the roof projecting beyond the wall of the building, especially in cases of small bleeds and the risk of flooding of the roof.
The bending is possible both down and up, which in the latter case even allows to provide a continuous crossing between the roof and the wall, for reasons of design and aesthetic.

 

TORO – END LAP

The sheet’s end lap, called “Toro”, is a new and improved version of the finishing extreme lobe of the sheet, that adds several advantages to RIVERCLACK® system:
It strengthens the “gutter side lap” of the sheet.
It helps the drainage, avoiding risks of water dripping outside of the gutter.
It an aesthetic value improving the look of the sheet’s terminal.
It avoids the manual bending of the sheet’s end lap during the installation phase, which is required for slopes lower than 5%.

The “toro” end lap, if required, is for both sheet’s ends bringing the following advantages:
Possibility to employ the Riverclack® system on roofs from gutter to gutter with the same features in both terminals.
No constraints as for direction of installation.
Improved ridge detailing thanks to the strengthening of the end lap.

“Toro” is only available for panels RIVERCLACK® 55. It is not available for tapered, twisted and curved sheets.
MATERIALS, COVERINGS AND FINISHING
ISCOM Roof Coatings are made of many materials and can be finished in different ways so as to meet the requirements of design and tastes of customers.
ISCOM uses the best, proven Italian and foreign suppliers of raw materials. Nevertheless, each roll of the metal is tested by their own laboratory just after delivery to the plant, so as to ensure the highest quality.

This process is carried out under constant control of the quality certificate ISO 9002/2000.
ISCOM provides the ability to track each shipment and feedback to determine the history of the final product by linking each sheet with a particular roll.

 

SAFE HANDLING
As is well known, it is needed to avoid contact of different metals to prevent electrochemical corrosion. In the RIVERCLACK® system stainless steel accessories can be used with aluminum and copper coatings without fear, thanks to the separation and lack of contact between them.
 

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ALUMINIUM ALLOY SERIES 5000 AND 3000
Aluminum alloy 5754 used in RIVERCLACK® system has mechanical and chemical parameters much better than the ordinary 3000 series alloy, commonly used in roof coverings. The use of alloy 5754 is recommended in the standard UNI 10372 concerning projects of roof coverings for the shipbuilding industry and in industrial environments.
The high degree of hardness (H18) and other features of the 5754 alloy containing a large admixture of magnesium, constitute the perfection of his choice as a lightweight and resistant roof coverings of RIVERCLACK® system.

The system offers a wide range of colors and finishes also in forms of cupro-like and zinc-like.
The available colors are shown below. Coatings for polyester, PVDF and polyamide may be single or multi-layered.

The coated surfaces may only be external, internal or both. Among the presented finishes worth emphasizing is extrusion, used on aluminum alloy to suppress reflections (popular in the coatings of airport terminals and buildings near roads and highways). In special situations, might be used perforated materials (shading or soundproofing walls). Aluminum can be anodized in different ways for the valuable items. Copper can be pre-oxidized in a different way, gaining the effect of color from green to dark brown. Zinc is always pre-oxidized, but can be supplied in two tones – dark and the light.

New technologies allows to create a living plant coating on the roof by reducing the thickness and the resulting roof weight, while providing undisturbed vegetation with reduced effort and irrigation time.
It is now possible to create “green roofs” weighing about 120 kg/m2, well soaked with water at a minimum thickness of 15 cm and with effort limited to 3 hours per year for every 100 m2 of roof (after the first year of the position).

Through evaporation, the water circulation, soil shaded by the leaves of plants during the summer the temperature of the roof is lowered by a few degrees relative to the air temperature. This has an impact on saving about 35% of the energy used for cooling in summer. Specific heat and insulating properties of the structures formed by Rivergreen roof also help noticeable to increase in thermal inertia and insulation of the roof, the larger amount of energy parameters, both in summer and winter.

RIVERGREEN has good sound insulation properties thanks to the combination its constituent technical layers and partly due to biomass, which protects against reflections of sound waves.
Furthermore, biomass recycle carbon dioxide in oxygen and improves the microclimate of the environment.

The characteristic features of the RIVERCLACK® AGORÀ® system are ease of installation, sealants and gaskets redundancy and no breaks in the coating.

Coverage mounting brackets are made of hardened polyamide and placed along the panel in known distances. They allow to slide freely due to thermal expansion without friction between the panels, thereby preventing the formation of thermal bridges and galvanic corrosion between the RIVERCLACK® AGORÀ® covering and the roof structure.

The panels of RIVERCLACK® AGORÀ® are installed by simple foot pressure into specially designed cutouts in brackets screwed into the purlins using two screws each.
As soon as the next bracket is screwed to the structure, the next panel is pressed into the cutout.

RIVERCLACK® AGORÀ® panels can be produced directly on the construction site according to the same standard as in the regime of the factory.
Regardless of the location of the construction site roll forming machine, which is a highly specialized product of ISCOMs can be transported, installed and work on the site.
This allows to a production of panels of any length, without transport restrictions and without overlapping fragments on the long roofs, fulfilling both aesthetic and functional requirements.

MATERIALS, COVERINGS AND FINISHING
ISCOM Roof Coatings are made of many materials and can be finished in different ways so as to meet the requirements of design and tastes of customers.
ISCOM uses the best, proven Italian and foreign suppliers of raw materials. Nevertheless, each roll of the metal is tested by their own laboratory just after delivery to the plant, so as to ensure the highest quality.

This process is carried out under constant control of the quality certificate ISO 9002/2000.
ISCOM provides the ability to track each shipment and feedback to determine the history of the final product by linking each sheet with a particular roll.
SAFE HANDLING
As is well known, it is needed to avoid contact of different metals to prevent electrochemical corrosion. In the RIVERGRIP® system stainless steel accessories can be used with aluminum and copper coatings without fear, thanks to the separation and lack of contact between them.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ALUMINIUM ALLOY SERIES 5000 AND 3000
Aluminum alloy 5754 used in RIVERCLACK® system has mechanical and chemical parameters much better than the ordinary 3000 series alloy, commonly used in roof coverings. The use of alloy 5754 is recommended in the standard UNI 10372 concerning projects of roof coverings for the shipbuilding industry and in industrial environments.

The high degree of hardness (H18) and other features of the 5754 alloy containing a large admixture of magnesium, constitute the perfection of his choice as a lightweight and resistant roof coverings of RIVERCLACK® system.

SURFACE FINISHING of RIVERCLACK® AGORÀ® panels
The system offers a wide range of colors and finishes also in forms of cupro-like and zinc-like.
The available colors are shown below. Coatings for polyester, PVDF and polyamide may be single or multi-layered.

The coated surfaces may only be external, internal or both. Among the presented finishes worth emphasizing is extrusion, used on aluminum alloy to suppress reflections (popular in the coatings of airport terminals and buildings near roads and highways). In special situations, might be used perforated materials (shading or soundproofing walls). Aluminum can be anodized in different ways for the valuable items. Copper can be pre-oxidized in a different way, gaining the effect of color from green to dark brown. Zinc is always pre-oxidized, but can be supplied in two tones – dark and the light.
